1939
Garrison Septic Service, Inc. is founded by Ray Garrison in Central Wisconsin, initially serving a wide area due to limited demand for septic services in any single location.
Late 1960s
Edward Alft, who had been working for Ray Garrison in various roles since the age of 13, purchases the business from Ray, expanding its services to meet the growing demand for septic systems.
1984
Matt Alft joins the company full-time, injecting new expertise and focus into septic system design and installation.
1991
Matt Alft takes over the installation branch of the business while his father, Edward Alft, shifts focus to the service end.
1996
Edward Alft retires, and Matt, along with his wife Connie, acquires the service part of the business. They continue expanding the company's offerings and service area.
Present
Garrison Septic Service, Inc. maintains its position as a trusted provider of septic solutions in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, and surrounding areas, upholding a commitment to local customer satisfaction and excellence spanning 85 years.
